Why Today is Worse Than Tomorrow

To be completely honest, today I had a crap day. There is no other way to say it. Now, we all have our days like this. Whether the weather is dreary or you have received some horrible news. In the long run, no one is a stranger to this feeling. For me personally, I have just had so many bad memories today. As of now though, I am doing okay.

Something that is important to remember is that it gets better. It truly does.

Now, why today is worse than what comes tomorrow. Tomorrow, we will have the lessons we have learned today. We do not often think about the lessons we learn on the daily. Everyday we learn something new, whether it is about ourselves, someone else, or the world itself. These lessons come in many forms, big and small. A lesson can be as little as running slightly late for work, so now you know not to drink wine late Tuesday nights. Or, a lesson can be as big as making sure to stop at a stop sign, because otherwise you could take someones life.

These lessons are what make the difference between today and tomorrow. Is it not always better to have more lessons rather than less?

Living is hard. There’s no good way to break the news. Life is hurtful. But the lessons make it a bit easier. Learning them often includes pain, but the outcome is incredibly worth it. It gets better day by day. This is why today is worse than tomorrow. We know more, we feel better, and living is just that much easier.
